If we admit that everything is in divine timing then we go purposefully with the flow.
It so happened that in 2026 Mother Rohani would be in NYC for all of the cross quarters and none of the actual quarters. This inspired the full embrace and celebration of these seasons as they have been for centuries in the North. Here is the official invitation she sent to a closed group of tribe members.

Brief History of Imbolc
Imbolc or Imbolg (pronounced im-olk) is the festival marking the beginning of spring and has been celebrated since ancient times. It is a cross quarter day, positioned midway between the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox. Imbolc generally falls between the 3rd and 6th of February. This astronomically derived date is later than the traditional observance on February 1st. It is often referred to as the calendar custom which was an earlier Irish, pre-Christian or pagan festival that was celebrated on the first day of spring. It is often seen that St Brigit's Day replaced Imbolg and that Brigit’s Day is the only Christian name given to a Celtic Quarter Day. The Irish term for milking, bliged, can be seen to derive from the earlier term mligid and it has been put forward that the term Imbolg is based on that term. [Click the link below to learn more]

This event coincided with the annual hibernation that Rohani observes, causing the invitation to be so limited. It also coincided with Lunar New Year and the beginning of Ramadan, what an auspicious time. The menu and décor was inspired by all of these occasions which can be seen in the photos. The star of the night was the blood orange platter which was beautifully crafted by Ashley P. (who also inspired the sisters retreat). 10 folks from various backgrounds and all distances (even Maryland) shared the evening cooking and crafting, letting the inner child come out to play around the fire.
